I enjoy managing complicated grant application processes. I have vast experience in spotting the raw potential of research ideas and love working with researchers to translate these ideas into strong grant proposals. I have a PhD in neurobiology and worked as a programme officer at a Dutch national funding agency. In my >10 years career in research funding, I developed expertise in a range of national and European funding programmes. For example, I'm highly specialized in Marie Curie Networks, having analyzed over 100 evaluation reports to truly understand what evaluators are looking for. Additionally, I supported multiple successful proposals including RIA, CSA, Gravitation, NWA-ORC and of course Marie Curie. Coming from a scientific background, I can easily relate to researchers in many fields, such as medical and life sciences, beta sciences and psychology.
