I also learned the layout of the store in order to answer customers' questions and direct them. At this store we worked in pairs, so I had to communicate effectively with my partner during busier times. I also became familiar with self-checkout systems in order to troubleshoot common problems with them.

I transcribed several hour-long documentaries to prepare them for official translation. I also worked in the military library, where I helped file books according to the Library of Congress classification system. Additionally, I helped assist patrons in finding books and became familiar with the basics of the library's internal database system, as I checked books in and out. This role also improved my Microsoft Office abilities, as I used them in the transcription process.
