I've been designing, programming, and making things for almost my entire life at this point. Whether that's a musical instrument, a vertical farming automation project, a new desk, an IoT trinket, or a robot arm built out of LEGO, I jump in with both feet. As comfortable with a soldering iron as I am with a squeegee or a saw, at a keyboard (both kinds) or with my hands deep in a broken machine, I really am the complete package, not afraid to get my hands dirty, but with the brains to more than back it up.Not everybody gets to say that their job feels like their play. I think that makes me pretty fortunate, that what I do for fun and what I'm doing for work, can do for work, aren't far apart. Certainly it's allowed me to build skills and experience well beyond what might be expected or easily legible on paper, when I do things like accidentally gain experience with a framework that a new project (which I was not involved with at the time) ends up needing while messing around on vacation.
