Neema Godfrey, currently pursuing a Master's in Criminology at the University of Central Lancaster, boasts a diverse academic journey. With a previous Master's in International Business from Prifysgol Bangor University, her impact began at Manafwa High School in Uganda, where she chaired the International Students Association, initiating transformative projects benefiting over 50 underprivileged children in the Karamoja region. Overcoming cultural barriers, Neema led the "EDUCATION IS OUR KIDS RIGHT" campaign, earning recognition from the Karamoja region government.Her undergraduate studies in Business Administration at Bugema University showcased leadership in young girls' clubs, championing gender equality through the successful "HER VOICE TO THE WORLD" campaign. Neema's commitment extended to environmental causes, leading impactful tree planting campaigns across Uganda. After excelling academically, a one-year contract with Coca-Cola Company Vietnam honed her marketing skills. Simultaneously, as a business consultant, she contributed significantly to startup growth in Tanzania and volunteered for various local and international organizations.Securing the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Scholarship brought Neema to the UK, where she became the President of the African Union Students Platform (AUSP). AUSP, under her leadership, became a beacon of Pan-African youth empowerment, fostering education, connections, and awareness of Agendas 2063 and 2030. Neema's dedication to advocacy and climate action shone at COP28 in Dubai, where she represented AUSP and led movements aligned with African aspirations.Recently elected as the President of Young Global Leaders in Dubai within the Young Global Leaders Network, Neema solidifies her role as a dynamic force uniting young leaders globally for positive change. Her journey exemplifies a commitment to education, empowerment, and environmental sustainability, making her a remarkable influencer in the realms of academia, business, and global leadership.
