D&A is a familial quality design studio. Its core team is headed by Nabil Dada, CEO, and his wife Ghada, Managing Director. They collaborate closely with their son Adib Dada through his own practice theOtherDada. With their experienced group of architects, interior designers and specialists, they interact collectively to build spatial and aesthetic experiences. D&A has designed projects across a variety of styles such as Classical, Timeless Modern, and Cutting-Edge Contemporary, ranging from government edifices, palaces, to hotels, boutiques and entertainment centers. Nabil Dada harbors a special fondness for modernity, the newest of the new, but he’s also had to master the classical mode often preferred by his mostly Arab clientele. In 1995 Prime Minister Rafic Hariri asked Nabil Dada to revitalize some of the most prominent rooms in the historic Grand Serail, the headquarters of the Lebanese Prime Minister, as well as the vast interior of the blue-domed Mohammad al-Amin Mosque overlooking Martyr’s Square. D&A collaborates with specialists on Lighting and Acoustics, but Volumes form the heart of Nabil Dada's approach: “I’m so concerned in every design about proportions”. Along with the Yacht Club, his team just completed the design of the Beirut Souks CinemaCity consisting of 14 state of the art cinemas.
