Brief about my PhD work, it was to understand the role of chemokine receptor CCR6 in the differentiation and plasticity of CD4 T cells during gut inflammation. I was studing the DNA packaging machinery in the family of largest known viruses called as mimivirus and mamavarius.

Worked on projects entitled,'The Study of Single nucleotide polymorphism in PTPN22 gene by RFLP analysis and its role in rheumatoid arthritis' & 'Study of Diagnostic potential of anti-cyclic citrulinated peptide (anti-CCP) antibodies in Rheumatoid Arthritis'Utilized many techniques like PCR, RFLP, ELISA, western blot, DNA RNA and serum isolation from blood Biochemical analysis of blood and serum samples etc.

Worked on a Project entitled, 'Method development for erythropoietin dimer formation and its estimation by size exclusion HPLC'.Utilized various techniques like size exclusion HPLC, UV spectroscopy, polyacrylamide gel Electrophoresis, isoelectric focusing, silver staining, dialysis.
