Vehicle Dynamics Lead, STES RacingOversaw the complete development of vehicle dynamics, focusing on the design and integration of key systems such as TSAC, steering, suspension, chassis, drivetrain, wheel assembly, and powertrain. Successfully designed the team’s first electric vehicle with compact packaging, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across all components.Key Responsibilities and Achievements:• Design & Development: Led the design of critical vehicle dynamics components, including TSAC, suspension, and steering systems, optimizing the brake assembly and chassis for a lighter vehicle structure.• Weight Reduction: Designed a compact accumulator container and an efficient suspension system, analyzing vehicle behavior under dynamic conditions to improve overall performance.• Simulation & Validation: Utilized SolidWorks and ANSYS for design calculations and simulations, ensuring compliance with rigorous performance and safety standards.• Systematic Approach: Implemented strategic methodologies, setting goals, understanding constraints, and considering other factors to ensure cohesive vehicle development while following best engineering practices.• Training & Mentorship: Trained new recruits, providing hands-on guidance for effective team integration and contributing to personal development.

Led the in-house design and fabrication of Fiber-Reinforced Plastic (FRP) components from scratch for the vehicle’s chassis, bodywork, and aesthetic elements.• Manufacturing Techniques: Wet Layup and Vacuum Bagging: Utilized these techniques to achieve optimal strength and weight, ensuring high-quality results during preprocessing and curing.• Mold Development: Developed wire-cut and CNC-machined molds for precise shapes, enabling intricate designs and maintaining fine tolerances.• Material Selection: Managed material selection for both performance and aesthetics, enhancing the vehicle's overall performance and visual appeal.• Notable Achievements: Successfully manufactured a carbon fiber steering wheel, bodyworks, and flooring components, focusing on weight reduction and structural integrity while providing optimal aesthetics.

Led the upgrade, manufacturing, and testing of steering systems for competition vehicles. In my role as a Vehicle Dynamics Member, I developed a deep understanding of the core technical engineering aspects behind the functioning of steering, chassis, suspension, and brake systems. I actively engaged with and validated these departments to ensure effective collaboration. My hands-on experience was enhanced by my involvement in the manufacturing of various components for our competition car, which participated in Formula Bharat. Additionally, I took on the responsibility of mentoring new team members, sharing the knowledge I gained to help train them for the upcoming season.
