The key aspects of my role at TR were as follows:• Led a global team of 120+ Developers, QA engineers and support engineers spread across India, U.S. and U.K.• Responsibilities included developing and supporting the technology platform for acquiring, managing and distributing various investment advisory content sets used in TR products• Reduced operational costs by transitioning relevant roles from high cost locations to low cost locations• Led the development of new flagship content collection and distribution system for Company Fundamentals, which has a revenue of approx. 150 million dollars • Led the complete re-engineering of the IBES Estimates system, market leader for broker estimates content in the investment advisory space• Led several automation initiatives using concepts such as natural language processing to enable information extraction from text documents and improve productivity and timeliness • Contributed significantly to the development of the next generation content delivery backbone (data cloud), which sits behind Eikon (flagship Thomson Reuters product), and delivers content required by investment managers for their workflows and decision making.
