I have always had an interest in learning the physics and technology behind various state of the art instruments used in sectors such as healthcare, space exploration and non-conventional energy generation. This prompted me to opt for an undergraduate degree in Engineering Physics at IIT - Bombay, and further, graduate degrees (MS, Ph.D) in Physics at Georgia Tech - Atlanta. In proceding with my education, I specialised in lasers and optics, which were having a profound impact on many different scientific and industrial areas.I am looking forward to develop my career in the aforementioned fields. I am at present interested in opportunities that will help me gain technical, marketing, and managerial experience, to gear up for core leadership responsibilities in future.Specialties: • Comprehensive knowledge in optics, polarization, optical scattering and nonlinear optics. Familiar with laser-matter interaction, ultrashort pulse measurement.• Operated and maintained CW lasers and femtosecond laser systems including regenerative amplifier (CPA) systems.• Extensive optical-bench experience having built advanced polarimeters, laser micro-machining systems.• Experienced in electrical signal conditioning, computerized process control, data acquisition and analysis.
