Assignment involved preparation of Investment Memorandum for potential investors and financial institutions, preparation of financial model to provide the financial projections for the project life, review of term sheets and negotiation support to the client for sanction of funds.Buy side due diligence for acquisition of power generation projects. Assignment involved review of various project agreements, clearances, commitments and other charges. It also included regulatory review of the projects in order to identify the tariffs applicable, royalty payable and other such compliance requirements. Reviewed term loan agreements entered by the seller to ascertain potential costs for buyer and refinancing options. Prepared a financial model based on the review of project documents and regulatory considerations to ascertain commercial viability of the project.
