About Neerav Karani
I am a research scientist at QuantCo, developing machine learning methods for medical image acquisition and analysis.During my postdoctoral stint at MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), I my research focused on developing innovative machine learning methods with a primary emphasis on improving the uncertainty quantification, robustness of neural networks, anomaly detection, representation learning and generative modeling.Having earned my Ph.D. from ETH Zurich, my doctoral thesis centered on enhancing the robustness of deep learning methods for image analysis. My academic journey also includes a Master's degree in Biomedical Imaging from ETH Zurich and a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Engineering Design from Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
