United Way is a worldwide network of more than 2,000 local non-profit organizations operating in 45 countries and territories that work to advance the common good of communities by focusing on education, income and health.Led the United Way India growth strategy - partnered with United Way Worldwide and India Board members to establish new United Way organizations in Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hubli-Dharwad, Kolkata and the India national body. Worked with partner organizations like Deloitte and McCann, formerly McCann Erickson, to develop the India resource mobilization, community impact and brand and marketing strategies. Worked with central and state government bodies to launch a number of community impact programs in areas like skill development, employee volunteering, disaster response and rehabilitation, and water conservation. Developed and executed a national governance framework for local United Way organizations and non-profit organizations. Invited to the first cohort of “United Way Worldwide Action Leaders Program”.
