Overall experience of 10 years, with good knowledge and hands-on experience in the design of extra low voltage (ELV) systems in the field of fire detection and alarm systems, video surveillance system, access control system, IT/Telecom systems, PA/VA systems, BMS etc.Routine work involves - Detailed engineering, designing & documentation of ELV systems which include Fire detection and alarm system (compliant to NFPA standards and QCDD regulations), Security System design(compliant to MOI-SSD Standards), IT/Telecom system, PAVA system, SMATV system, BMS etc. - Design/assist in obtaining fire alarm system approvals from the Qatar Civil Defense Department (QCDD), CCTV system approvals from the security systems department under the Ministry of Interior (MOI-SSD) & Telecom system approvals from Ooredoo, Vodafone & QNBN.- Participating in meetings to understand the requirements, work on the building layout detail drawings for all ELV systems & developing schematics & detail layout drawings. - Develop / Review the pre-construction package (design & documentation)- Develop design/pre-bid documents (design basis/preliminary itemized BOQ) for design/build contracts.Meeting with different IT/AV-ELV vendors to learn more and alternative technologies. - Interdisciplinary coordination with Architectural, structural, ID and MEP team, for all trunk routes, conduit & electrical requirements.
