As a Machine Learning Software Engineer, I work on cutting-edge technology that is transforming the healthcare industry. As a result, I have developed a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and ensure that our solutions align with industry regulations and best practices.My day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating and implementing machine learning frameworks and tools, analyzing and interpreting complex data sets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of machine learning solutions. I also participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architecture discussions to ensure that our solutions are both effective and maintainable.I have a strong background in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science, as well as a deep understanding of software development practices and principles. I am proficient in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and C++, and have experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment can be challenging, but it is also incredibly rewarding. I was responsible for developing high-level functionalities for our Spoken Dialogue System Authoring Language. I owned the project end-to-end, which included identifying common customer use cases, validating, implementing, and testing each functionality, and facilitating user adoption. I significantly enhanced the performance of the Automatic Speech Recognition System by designing and implementing taggers and parsers for various types of data, which were subsequently integrated into our Spoken Dialogue System.A significant achievement was spearheading the 18-month-long development of the call flow manager, an integral component of our flagship product. During this endeavor, I assumed responsibility for 90% of the project’s codebase and guided the entire product life cycle, from its conceptualization through to its successful launch. This effort culminated in the creation of a sophisticated web-based application using React, boasting the capability to seamlessly manage billions of calls while drastically reducing compile times to just seconds. Additionally, this project necessitated close-knit weekly coordination with the design team, co-founders, my manager, and other stakeholders to ensure its success.Additionally, I successfully integrated core product access with third-party cloud communications platforms, ensuring seamless onboarding and support for customers using these platforms to access our product.I also contributed to the development of Machine Learning algorithms aimed at enhancing the search quality of our Knowledge Base Software.Furthermore, I played a vital role in the product deployment team, carrying out monthly releases and managing customer-facing Kubernetes realms.
