I am passionate to bridge the gap between sustainable businesses and environmental practices. I am a clean energy professional with a strong track record of designing innovative business models, analysing risks, and assessing environment and social impact. To address energy crisis, I developed India’s first mini-grid regulations, all-inclusive electrification plans for remote islands and renewable energy projects. My most recent role as manager pushed me towards thriving in fast paced business environment, decision making and successfully deal with complex real-world challenges. I worked with more than 10 multilateral and bi lateral funding institutions including World Bank, Asian Development Bank, United Nations Development Program, UN-Women, US Agency for International Development, and British High Commission. Over 10 years of consulting experience enhanced my capabilities of stakeholder management, and trained me to build and maintain relationships. Diverse experience in developing countries unlocked the prospects to understand impediments to economic development and strike a balance with the considerations equally conducive to business, society and environment. An understanding of global eminent challenges in environmental and social domain, coupled with knowledge of businesses will benefit me to implement best business strategies that create a long-term value for all the stakeholders. I am passionate about adding value to the community through social activities. I co-founded a non-profit to support sustainable initiatives in underdeveloped economic areas.
