-Perform cGDP recorded operations and data driven processes in an FDA regulated cGMP environment in large scale production of oligonucleotide API.-Practice unparalleled safety through deep understanding of the chemicals used daily including solvents and commercially available ingredients.-Write and Revise Standard Operating Procedures-Perform CAPA, deviation control, and NCR investigation with management and quality assurance.-Work with validation, tech services, and engineering to validate new equipment and facilities. (The production suite doubled in size within the time span of my position here.)-Maintain and trouble shoot critical process equipment including but not limited to spectrophotometers, conductivity meters, auto-pipettors, floor/bench balances, capillary electrophoresis instruments, filter integrity instruments, MPLC skids, columns for chromatography, synthesizer skids, ultrafiltration skids, and clean-in-place-skids, lyophilization equipment.-Utilize SAP ERP to facilitate daily management of supplies within the manufacturing suite-Uphold Agilent Technologies core values; Uncompromising Integrity, Trust, Respect, Teamwork, Focus, Accountability, Speaking Up, and Innovation.

-Take part in daily research and development of hemp derived cannabinoids.-Perform organic synthesis, purification, and quantification daily. -Data entry, bookkeeping, written reports, summarization of results weekly.-Develop SOPs on synthetic pathways to minor cannabinoids-Aid in the development of large-scale batch chemistry-Teach others laboratory etiquette, safety, and technique-Independently driven projects within a team setting-HPLC and GC-MS instrumentation for material characterization

Working at a level one trauma center necessitates the upmost independence in responsibility while also prudently working on a team for the best possible patient care. Effective communication with distinguished attending and residents, time management, adaptability, and efficacy are the minimum skills required to succeed in charting all physician-patient interaction in this department. With over sixty beds, this emergency room is constantly serving patients, and it is my job to document these interactions with absolute accuracy. At this location, I became proficient with Epic EMR.

Held responsibility of documenting all physician-patient interaction within the medical chart. This task necessitated an extensive knowledge of medical jargon, an excellent typing speed with accuracy, and an ability to communicate effectively with distinguished physicians. At this location, I became proficient with MEDITECH EHR.

Worked in tandem with a registered RN to provide unmatched quality in service when treating the clientele to the services offered, including but not limited to cryotherapy with gaseous nitrogen, infrared sauna, intravenous drip, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The clientele consisted of sporty-persons and health conscious individuals, necessitating me to be able to answer any and all questions asked over the processes of these services. It was my job to ensure the proper maintenance, use, and safety of all equipment. I also served as front desk with responsibilities of documenting all in/out patrons, new/old subscriptions, general upkeep of the shop, and first point of contact for walk in/call in sales.

Waller Creek ResearchMy main responsibility within this lab was to work closely with my supervisor to ensure the lab was stocked with pertinent materials and equipment. Otherwise I helped facilitate that sample collection from the local campus stream, and taught analytical technique to analyze these samples, including but not limited to lyophilization, (gravity) filtration, and flame atomic absorption spectroscopy. At some point, I labeled and entered all available organic and inorganic material within a spreadsheet, at that point fortifying to me the importance and satisfaction of proper documentation. I'd also like to mention, over that summer season, I had the grand, and so rewarding opportunity to oversee and guide a class of high school college hopefuls in their own scientific inquiries. I oversaw twelve distinct group projects spanning concepts in organic chemistry and biology. I stocked all material they needed, and taught them skills such as invertebrate farming, BSL-1 bacterial cultures, organic reactions, rotovap utilization, fraction distillations, and of course, documentation, to name a few.

Led a small cohort of incoming students by serving as their first point of contact in questions regarding their academic path. Met weekly as a group and individually discussing goals to ensure their transition to UT proved an excellent one. This team also worked on a semester long research project that I helped facilitate and guide them through. Personally, helping out younger students proved rewarding in its own right.

Synthesis & Biological Recognition, Bioactive MoleculesUtilized bio-, synthetic, and organic chemistry techniques to facilitate the novel creation of ligands from commercially available organics, for the purposes of inhibiting the MetRS protein relevant to HAT disease. As the forefront of drug development, this lab taught me the rigor of research, an insight I still hold to this day. Responsibilities as a researcher included following pertinent protocols with proper use and maintenance of lab equipment, using published research to guide these protocols, knowledge and use of NMR and IR spectroscopy, knowledge and use of Mestrenova and Pymol software, and general lab safety with etiquette. Time management over months, efficacy, and independently working with peers were also key. Once I was proficient in organic technique, including but not limited to air-free reaction, flash column chromatography, and to interpret scientific writing, it became my duty to teach these lessons to my peers.

My job was to facilitate practical and aesthetic improvements to the infrastructure and overall property of this cooperative. I worked in tandem with a co-manager to hold weekly meetings with a team dedicated to this task. We delegated roles to achieve several successful projects, including but not limited to, a complete recasting of the property pool and the removal of a dated bamboo forest. Personally, the amount of exotic plants we added to the property was my favorite task. This all possible with the independent and fine management of a budget granted to us at the start of the fiscal year.

Held the responsibility of surveying the multitude of buildings on campus for fire safety code and appropriate function of all fire extinguishers. Entered this data in to an electronic database immediately available to fire marshals and building managers. Optimized my supervisor's and my own schedule to maximize the amount of buildings surveyed within my time on this team, given there are over fifty buildings on campus. Otherwise worked with two peer interns to facilitate student outreach, mainly tabling to advocate for fire safety, successfully initiating a "Put out the Fire!" seminar that the students enjoyed.
