- Administer retention programs, activities, and initiatives with a focus on the support of Latin@ students.- Identify and help to address the academic, social, cultural, and political needs of Latin@ students, as well as those of other student communities.- Support the work and evaluation associated with the Goizueta Foundation Latino Leadership Pipeline program.-Partner with academic and student affairs departments to create leadership development programs.-Collaborate on the construction, execution, and support of academic, cultural, and social programming for all students, faculty, staff, alumni, community members, and other constituencies.-Be highly accessible to individual students, groups of students, and student organizations as an advisor and mentor on academic and personal concerns that impact academic performance.- Assist Latin@ students in forstering a strong sense of self and community, and to build coalitions between communities.- Assist with the hiring, training, and supervision of student employees and volunteers.- Maintain records and provide narrative and/or written progress reports as directed, including program assessments/evaluations, budget reports, and program reports.

• Responsible for the total functioning of an upper-class residential building of over 150 residents including community and student development, facilities, administrative tasks, and other departmental needs.• Supervise and evaluate 7 undergraduate staff members. • Maintain an on-going developmental and educational performance feedback of staff members through weekly staff meetings, bi-weekly one on ones, and day-to-day activities.• Participate in on-call rotations for university housing and respond to on-campus crises accordingly. • Facilitate student conduct meetings engaging students on university policies and the impact of their behavior in the community. • Administer a programming model focused on academic excellence, world impact, diversity, service, and relationship building.• Oversee two Living Learning Communities: Social Justice Floor and Metropolitan Student Themed communities that focuses on students with similar interests and majors become agents of change around their community and campus. • Hire and train new staff members.
