Built by the former Mozilla CTO Andreas Gal, I was helping in turning the crowdfunders of Silk Labs’ first project into active community members. Contribution role where I learned and enhanced most of my skills being in a 1000+ employee company with very strict development, testing and deployment rules: Worked on adding RTL support for the User Interface of "Firefox OS" The Operating System developed by Mozilla and based on Web technologies. RTL stands for Right To Left, Every RTL-based language (e.g. Arabic) requires additional UI support, which I'm working on.Also working on implementing general UX specs into the system.

Along with everything done as a past contributor:- Very strict product release protocols: I worked on creating the guidelines of RTL (Right To Left User Interfaces) for the OS “Firefox OS”, testing, and then implementing them.- Tasks required collaboration and bringing together multiple teams and departments (e.g. QA, Engineering, UX & UI, Developer Relations).Tech used: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, NodeJS, Mocha, SinonTools: Git, NPM, Bugzilla

We hit the news big! With a dedicated team, I was assigned to developing and enhancing the Right-To-Left UI in Firefox OS and making sure its experience is well implemented and ready to be shipped in devices.Also working on custom projects for OEMs and Carriers that want to explore, use and distribute Firefox OS.Our client was Orange, and our delivery helped them launch the OS in the Middle East and North Africa region in time.- Design and code Right-To-Left interfaces of Firefox OS and making sure it's ready to ship to mobile devices in the MENA region.- Worked on tailored projects with OEMs (Foxconn) and telecom operators (Orange, Telefonica) who wish to explore, use and distribute the OS.- Main partner was Orange, and our delivery made possible the launch of the OS in Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, and Morocco.Tech used: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, NodeJSTools: Marionette (Firefox OS-based Unit Testing framework), Git, NPM, Github, Bugzilla, Asana
