Responsible to entire calculation package for entire phase of the project. >Goethals Bridge Replacement Project Client: New Jersey/New York Port of Authority, Design-Build Performed design calculations for the design of the bridge towers, piers, and strut under strength, seismic, and service limit states. Developed preliminary design of top of the tower slab that integrated the architects design, determined the stud layout for anchor boxes, and developed tower leg reinforcement plans. Coded marco-embedded spreadsheets to post-process data obtained from CSI Bridge model in an efficient and timely manner. Conducted time history analysis of tower leg, strut, and foundations.

Completed a 95% bridge independent check calculation for the widening of the historic Riverside Drive Bridge over Los Angeles River. Constructed Riverside Drive Bridge model in CONBOX for load calculations, conducted structural analysis in GTSTRUDL, and wrote computer code in X-Section to perform a moment curvature analysis for the existing and widening pier walls. Developed the girder cross section geometry for the Palm Spring's Vista Chino Low Water Crossing New Bridge Replacement and wrote the bridge type selection report. Coordinated with Riverside County to organized Caltrans Local Assistance Highway Bridge Program (HP) funding documents for bridges in the County, and wrote Highway Bridge Program (HBP) reports to be submitted to Caltrans to fund the renewal or replacement of bridges that are structurally deficient and/or have low sufficient ratings.
