I finished my Chartered Accountancy degree at the age of 21 and joined one of the Big 4 consulting firms, Deloitte wherein I got good exposure about different manufacturing companies like Mother Dairy, Pernod Ricard, Indraprastha Gas, Parsvnath Developers etc. After that I moved to Pepsi Co wherein I independently handled the copacker finance operations of the whole Tropicana Juice Business, Tropicana Dilutables, Gatorade and Preforms. These businesses were very critical for the company from strategic point of view and the whole co-packer angle exposed me to the complexity of handling 3rd party manufacturers. After I completed two years with Pepsi Co, I got the opportunity to move into the strategy function in Philip Morris International (makers of Marlboro). At Philip morris, I work with the senior leadership team in both forming and execution of strategy, which includes finalizing annual plans, providing inputs for rolling forecasts, proactively providing industry insights and trends, calculating and tracking ROI of critical projects and managing regional visits and reporting. My role requires me to wear a "white hat" while analyzing and processing information and work in close collaboration with the commercial function. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and always look forward to bringing value to the table. I love to write in my free time and have published a book called "Table for One" which is available on amazon.
