I am a queer feminist activist, strategic communications expert, and a seasoned journalist with over eighteen years of experience. With a profound commitment to working within movements, amplifying marginalised and grassroots voices and advocating for a just world, I have worked globally and regionally in Asia and the Pacific, across climate justice, economic justice, health justice, food justice and gender justice movements. I am skilled in leading communications teams for civil society networks and movements and have led strategic communications for campaigns, communications advocacy at UN, at grassroot levels and rapid communications for urgent action response for frontline defenders. I believe in fostering narratives that challenge the status quo and disrupt systemic barriers. Previously I was a foreign correspondent with NHK, the Japanese Public Broadcaster. I hold a Masters degree in International Journalism from University of Leeds, UK.
