• Responsible for providing the leadership to the Finance function and support to the Business to achieve its goals by facilitating prudent decision making• Ensuring that the financial statements reflect the true state of affairs and are transparent, tax and other statutory compliances are adhered to; to /help the company gain stakeholder confidence and pave the path for expansion and success• Compilation and review of financial performance, reporting for Statutory, Tax, Management and Regional Control, including Annual accounts, monthly results, budgeting, and cash-flow forecasting• Building a comprehensive strategy that aligns with key business goals; ensuring that the strategy is in place for effective tax management across the Group -reduction of tax withholding and enhancing the refunds, managing the tax risks, effective utilization of input credits to reduce tax blockage, achieving reduction in the overall ETR• Implementation and enforcement of Group and region-specific financial policies and procedures• Design and monitor the adequacy of the framework of internal financial controls at affiliate level• Ensure that the function is adequately equipped to deliver efficient and effective functional objectives and safeguard the revenue earned and invested• Partner local management in identifying business risks and mitigation plans

• In charge for management reporting, consolidation, performance reviews,presentations and implementation of an action plan for delivery of targets• Spearheading financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function and support to brands and agencies for budgeting and planning activities• Support to Business function on all commercial decision making under the client engagement process, performance updates & analysis, evaluation & corroboration of new initiatives & projects and identification of synergy opportunities • Head the Direct and Indirect Tax Function, responsible for formulation of Tax strategy for India, planning measures for maximizing tax savings, ensuring entities comply with tax legislation and meet their obligations• Responsible for coordination with Group CFO, Regional tax team on all tax aspects, using external advisors where necessary• Closely working with the Group CFO on strategizing the plan for a leaner India structure to achieve a tax neutral outcome• Actively engaging in strategizing for M&A discussions, co-ordination with regional teams and valuation experts • Manage accounting due diligence pertaining to targets for acquisition• Implemented cost saving initiatives and productivity tools, including streamlined internal audit procedures and use of ERP software • Representation of group to Regional (APAC), Global office and external stakeholders• Hands on experience in contract drafting and client negotiations• Responsible for working with the external consultants on designing and delivering the change methodology for the Finance Transformation• Developing a high-performance team to drive disciplined growth and strengthen controls

Analysis of expenditures, comparing the actuals with budgeted and explaining the variance; responsible for all India accounting of Service Tax of the agency. Actively involved in implementation of SAP accounting Package for the Company. Responsible for strict adherence to the risk based internal controls, identification and assessment of high-level risk issues and proactively resolving the same with the support of senior management along with assisting in implementation of risk management strategies, plans and activities on approvals from management.

• Planning and supervision of Statutory Audits, Internal Audit, Process Reviews and Agreed Upon Procedures of clients, including developing and translating the audit strategy into effective audit procedures.• Performing various analytical procedures on the financial data and thereby preparing an efficient and effective Audit Strategy for each individual location and area. Also involved in the finalization of accounts of the Company. Handled individually the areas like Segment Reporting, Inventory Valuation, Cash Flow Statement (Standalone and Consolidated).• Ensuring compliance with laws and practices including Indian Companies Act and Indian Income Tax Act. • Review of significant accounting and business processes of clients including Income Recognition, Sales, Purchases, Inventory and Human Resources.
