About Neha Poonia

I am a broadcast and multimedia journalist who has worked for television and radio networks around the globe. As an international correspondent, I’ve covered the Trump-Kim summit in Hanoi, opposition protests against President Putin in Moscow, India’s mammoth 2019 elections, the Sri Lankan terror attacks and the deadly outbreak of COVID19 among other big stories. A cross platform journalist who can shoot, edit, produce and anchor shows, I’ve worked for broadcasters such as the PBS NewsHour, CBC News, SBS News, LBC, BBC, Singapore’s Channel News Asia, Turkey’s TRT World, South Africa's SABC and Israel's i24. Formerly, I was a news editor and presenter for CNN's India affiliate- CNN-News18 where I lead the network's pan-India coverage for major breaking news stories.
