I was fortunate to be selected by my university for a student Exchange Program for a course on "SMART FACTORIES and INDUSTRIE 4.0". The course was close to 3 weeks long at the prestigious RWTH University at Aachen, Germany. I was the only student from India and it was a wonderful experience interacting and working along with other international students and understanding their varied cultures. The course helped me understand the importance of data mining , machine learning , big data (industrial big data) , AI (Artificial Intelligence) , IOT (Internet of Things) , robotics and automation in the field of INDUSTRIE 4.0.The university campus was serene and beautiful which was an added bonus to the experience. Overall it was a great learning experience.
