I am a fashion buyer as well as a fashion management professional with a strong design and product knowledge. My professional qualification is backed by my humble experience of 11+ years working as a Category Buyer, designer and Category Manager in different renowned entities Pan India. To mention that I have been Award Winner, twice over, during my graduation in Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and post-graduation in fashion management studies, Masters of Fashion Management (MFM), both from prestigious NIFT. I am keen to utilise my humble experience to work on profile of a Buyer, category manager, or similar profiles given an opportunity.I have had an extensive & hand on experience in Fashion and apparel design & buying, Accessory Designing and buying, product development, cost negotiation, range planning, costing, order procurement, buying decision making, data analysis, BOM confirmation, seal samples inspection & approvals for various International brands as well as department stores based in UK, US etc of high repute like M&S, Zara, Debenhams, Rebecca Minkoff, Abercrombie and Fitch, Tom and Tailor, and Adolfo Dominguez to name a few.Along with the aforementioned I have a had a hand on experience in understanding and working in the field of fashion retail in India with emphasis on e-commerce for a globally renowned brand “MARKS & SPENCER” as well as in Buying department of an Indian women’s wear brand “KAZO”.
