I am currently engaged in the development of an AI-powered asset maintenance system, which represents phase one of a larger project. This system is designed to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of asset management through automation and AI-driven insights.The first phase involves building a robust backend and frontend system to manage asset data. This includes designing the architecture using React.js for the frontend, ensuring a seamless user experience with Material UI and React Query to manage state and data fetching efficiently. On the backend, I utilize Firebase for database management, authentication, and hosting, ensuring the application is secure and scalable.As we progress into phase two, I will be developing a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) chatbot. This chatbot will act as an intelligent inspection companion, capable of answering asset-related questions by leveraging advanced AI techniques such as Large Language Models (LLMs) and LangChain for natural language processing. This will allow real-time, context-aware responses, enhancing the inspection and maintenance process for assets.The chatbot’s goal is to assist users in identifying potential issues, provide maintenance recommendations, and answer specific queries related to the assets, thus optimizing asset upkeep and reducing downtime.
