• Establishing a task and finish group of Black and Racially Minoritised (BRM) organisations to provide direction and oversight for a research project on the needs of the BRM Community & Voluntary Sector (CVS) and recommendations on council investment in infrastructure support to the BRM CVS.• Producing a recommendation report on investment of £100k to the BRM CVS for Brighton & Hove Anti-Racism Community Advisory Group (CAG), Brighton & Hove City Council (BHCC) senior management and BHCC councillors’ consideration.• Following through the recommendations of the report by working with a Steering Group to build an alliance of organisations to deliver BRM CVS Infrastructure provision in the city.• Supporting the development of a Black-led infrastructure partnership that supports the development of dynamic, independent, and strong Black and Minoritised communities and organisations to succeed and flourish and to have better access to information and support, greater involvement in shaping local services, housing and to create positive changes in their communities, to achieve their full potential, and to become sustainable for the future.• Implementing processes, reports and agreements to ensure good governance and successful project outcomes.• Managing partnerships with BRM community groups, consultants, experts and wider council teams. • Negotiating and monitoring expenditure against the investment budget.• Ensuring the project aligns with Brighton and Hove’s Anti Racism Strategy.
