Elected to serve as the Dixie Pines Region Vice President of North Carolina DECA, a 75-year strong organization that prepares emerging business leaders for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. I worked with 4 other regional officers and a state president to lead our delegation of over 7,500 high school leaders and ensure the growth and success of the organization during our one year term. Responsible for serving Districts 5 and 7, which consist of 14 counties in NC.Job Responsibilities:• Conduct chapter visits across my region of 14 counties for competition prep, presentations, and recruitment efforts.• Work with schools to encourage members and chapters to achieve their potential and grow the organization• Develop and implement statewide programs aimed at increasing chapter involvement and growth• Attend training conferences and workshops from International DECA Inc.• Maintain social media accounts including Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
