Ever since I was a little kid, buildings were my passion. I loved looking out at any structure or building and understand their functioning. I love entering interior spaces and observing how the spaces function. As I continued working as an interior designer I understood its the not only the materials and furniture that stood out to me but it was the Lighting that made everything seem as it seems. I understood the importance of lighting a space by understanding how the light and shadows worked.This passion led me to the capital of the Lighting Design world: New York, where I did my Masters in Lighting Design. I continued working in the city post my education where I learned the real challenges of Lighting Design. It's not just placing lights where you like, it is figuring how to make a space-efficient, making it energy efficient and keeping the integrity of the space. I have worked on many Office spaces where the goal lies to make the employees' efficiency better while keeping their health in check. I have also worked on lighting few buildings exterior as buildings are my first love.Now that I am back to Mumbai City where my passion for lighting began I look forward to incorporating Lighting as an integral part of interior and exterior designs while achieving sustainable energy usage.
