With a strong belief in understanding emotions and its interplay with vast experiences that individuals are faced with I began my journey in exploring the power of human capital. I pursued my Masters degree in social psychology to study the cause, effect and reasoning's that humans bring to their schema and that of others in their life journey. With this interest I explored variety of settings where psychology could prove pivotal in transforming or at least understanding different lives and their corresponding impact on society as a whole.It has been 17 years of fascinating work experience as a Career Counselor, Psychologist, Human Resource Professional, free lance consultant in aiding organisations in varied ways such as providing counselling to either students for career decisions or employees for career and professional transitions to conducting training programs , behaviour modification programs, assessments and competency mapping. Have also worked with NGO's for life skills training of children who come from varied backgrounds in order to add to their life definitions in a positive way. I am able to work across age groups utilising psychological skillsets to empower individuals in recognizing their core mental makeup, emotional and social motivators that influence the way they live and will live.I consistently try to identify diverse work roles where keen analysis and investigation are vital in reaching end objectives. One such diverse role is in area of implementing training workshop for POSH - Prevention of Sexual Harassment at workplace, and conducting investigations to deal with complaints. I am part of POSH committee at various companies.To define myself: I am forthright, observant, inquisitive, passionate strong willed and ready to communicate about plethora of roles where human behaviour is centre of focus and scientific inquiry.
