I grabbed my first work opportunity as a volunteer in a Primary Health center in a small town called Katra in Jammu. I counselled people on primary health care, avoiding self medication and preventive health care. The opportunity merged beautifully with the course I was doing then on Health Science. From being volunteer to handling human resource, to recruiting skilled volunteers, to ensuring the community gets engaged as a collective unit - I have enjoyed each opportunity.My own experience as a volunteer has given me valuable insight into what makes a great volunteer. With my background in human resources, I have a unique advantage in understanding employee engagement and managing relationships at both the company and individual level. My expertise lies in fostering strong teamwork and upholding ethical principles to achieve excellence in social projects. I bring 17 years of experience in CSR, strategic community initiatives and outreach, volunteering and grants management, ESG policy formulation, sustainability, impact investing, training program development and delivery, program management and organisational growth.
