Held hybrid role as Chief of Staff, Payment Product Lead, and Program Manager within our 300-member Treasury Services group, leading multiple technology initiatives and teams to enable our payment services strategy. This work spans eight departments in nine global locations with responsibility for fiscal planning, performance goals tracking, communications, workforce and location strategy, and people engagement initiatives.My project highlights included playing a key Program/Project Manager role for the AppleCard launch efforts (payment stack, payment processing system, procedures) to support millions of customers, a robust and highly successful fraud monitoring program (systems, governance, operations), and a major implementation of a sanctions screening solution for hundreds of thousands of daily payments. In my Chief of Staff role, I led our annual strategic planning exercise and produced three-year business plans to define growth strategy and core objectives, delivery roadmap, ROI, and scope of operations to ensure the effective deployment of global footprint, technology, and budget/resource plans.

Business Architecture & Change Management

After four years in finance I was considering a change in direction and earned acceptance into an exclusive cohort as a NYC Teaching Fellow, and I also took advantage of the program’s reduced tuition to earn my Masters at St. John’s University. I was interested in applying my business experience to help public school systems overcome the challenges of service delivery and parental engagement to improve outcomes.In this role I established a framework for the Special Ed department to improve caseload management (IEP calendars, templates for progress assessments, data tracking tools) and built a Transition Services Program to prepare students with disabilities for post-secondary education life with objectives for each grade and a roadmap for their school career. I also wrote a Special Ed handbook for families to articulate services and student rights to ensure service accessibility and provide awareness on learning programs to parents.

At AIG I was initially recruited to establish enterprise risk policy and I then transitioned to focus on design and implementation of repeatable processes for identifying risk takers among AIG employees as part of a Dodd Frank directive from executive management and a broader risk program. This work included analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to develop metrics, profiles, and criteria to identify risk takers. I implemented formal processes and criteria for risk reviews of incentive comp programs and ensured programs had guardrails to mitigate risk-taking. My work was documented in reports, presentations, and training workshops for board approval.

I accepted a return offer in Treasury Operations after a 2008 summer internship and was responsible for managing 250 external agent banks/branch relationships and maintaining over 8,000 cash accounts.
