I am a third-year aerospace engineering student at Penn State University. I am also pursuing a minor in astrophysics to supplement my engineering coursework on spacecraft design and instrumentation. I have previously completed an internship at Pratt & Whitney as a Repair Project Engineering Intern. In this role, I was exposed to the aftermarket side of the F135 military engine program. I worked on various repair projects while understanding the budget, schedule, and risk implications of each task. I gained insight into the technical process of developing repairs and the structural assessments done to ensure safety and part health. I was also exposed to development projects from Collins Aerospace and Raytheon Technologies through intern programming events. I am looking to gain more technical experience and directly apply my academic learning to a role in industry.
