Neil Abrams, formerly of the Hertz Corporation, established Abrams Consulting Group, Inc. (“ACG”), a car rental consulting and travel market research concern, in 1982 in response to the changing landscape and competitive climate of the US auto rental industry taking shape in the early ‘80s. Since that time, ACG, based in Purchase, NY, has become the leading specialized advisory and research firm to the global auto rental, fleet management, travel service and transportation industries as well as to a broad range of product and service suppliers to those industries. Along with ACG business units Abrams Consulting International - EMEA and A/P Regions, Abrams Travel Data Services, and AdlerAbramsAdvisors, ACG launched Abrams Carsharing Advisors in January 2009 to focus exclusively on the quickly evolving carsharing market opportunity for rental operators.As a leading independent expert on the dynamics of the auto rental business domestically and internationally, Mr. Abrams is a frequent speaker at industry events (including delivering the keynote address at the 2004 Car Rental Show), and his opinions, insights, and commentary are often viewed in both print and broadcast media. Throughout his almost 40 years in the rental industry, he has served on many advisory boards of trade publications and travel organizations, and became the founding Executive Director of the newly reconstituted American Car Rental Association in 2005.Mr. Abrams holds a Masters of Business Administration earned at the prestigious Bernard Baruch Graduate School of Business Administration in New York City.
