Mappedin is a company that specializes in mapping indoor areas such as malls. It leverages those maps to help consumers with wayfinding. During my time on the Data team, I led the development of an identification system that takes in a stores' metadata such as its logo and returns its brand. I increased the accuracy of identifying brands by 50% using ML and NLP techniques such as word embeddings, image processing and k-means clustering

As a part of the performance team, I was responsible for the overall performance of Vault, a cloud-based document management system. I also managed and created data dashboards to provide business insights to teams.

Developed Python automation scripts to increase testing efficiency such as cloning test data (users and books) across environments.

Shad Valley is a month-long intensive summer camp for exceptional senior high school students who have an interest in STEM. As a fellow, I attended a series of remarkable lectures, workshops and excursions that cultivated my interest in STEM and subsequently resulted in my decision to pursue engineering. As a part of the program's focus on combining STEM with entrepreneurship to solve real world issues, I founded a product-based venture with a group of other fellows that addressed the issue of harmful waste created as a byproduct of clothing manufacturing in an attempt to reduce environmental impact.
