I am a Design Architect at Barrientos Design & Consulting. I graduated from The University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2021 with a Bachelors of Science of Architect. Joining Barrientos in January of 2022, I will have 3 years of professional experience in an Architecture Firm come January, 2025. I am actively working on accumulating my hours to become a licensed Architect in the state of Wisconsin.Barrientos Design & Consulting is a small architecture firm. For many projects I act as Project Manager and Lead Designer. During my three-year tenure at Barrientos, I have touched all phases of the architectural process. This includes professional study documents & analysis, Schematic Design, Preliminary Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration. Barrientos is specialized in Operations & Maintenance Facilities for city governments, but I have also worked on Preliminary Design for an apartment building & Construction Documents for the Baird Center in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Most of our work comes from Wisconsin, but we are growing to Florida and California. My most recent project is the Waupaca DPW Garage, for which I acted as Project Architect through the Construction Administration process. I was also on the design team for Preliminary Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents.I am a part-time caddie at Whistling Straits Golf course in Haven Wisconsin. I was full time through college, and have spent the last 2 years on call. Each day, I have a new client, where I spend the next 5 hours with them on the golf course. A caddie helps the player and provides recommendations for their round. Most importantly, you learn who they are, how to connect with different types of people, and make sure they have a 5-star experience. Going forward, my main goal is to become a registered Architect in the State of Wisconsin. I will continue to be a part-time caddie at Whistling Straits.
