It Portfolio Value Manager
CurrentValue Management focuses on establishing sustainable value in the IT portfolio. The Portfolio Value Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the value management of Information Technology projects and programs throughout the organization. This involves defining budgets, monitoring costs and benefits, ensuring adherence to IT and Financial Governance protocols, and providing comprehensive reporting on the outcomes.Key roles and responsibilities include: - Support with the creation of the technology roadmap by compiling value cases and budget proposals for the portfolio. - Develop value cases in line with the expenditure approval frameworks and present them for approval through the appropriate processes and forums.- Developing and improving a value case approach framework for enterprise-wide use, aligning business stakeholders in value case development.- Collaborate with Business and IT stakeholders to define value proposition and gain insights into the diverse cost perspectives of IT initiatives.- Facilitate the annual IT project budgeting process with IT portfolio leaders and effectively manage and coordinate the portfolio funding. - Provide oversight, measure and report on budgets, forecasting and actual costs of the IT portfolio.- Create a value realization framework to assess the delivery of defined financial and non-financial value in the value case.- Align with Business and Product owners on the value case metrics (KPIs) and monitor ongoing value realisation.
