I have worked with the YJB since 2004; recently promoted to a Programme Manager position. I am also the YJB's Business Owner for AssetPlus across England & Wales, and was part of the team which successfully implemented the framework across YOTs and the secure estate. I previously managed two of the YJB's corporate priorities (Reducing Reoffending and Shared Services), following my management of projects including YOT improvement, whole service restructures and the transition of the YJB Management Information System (YJMIS) into BAU. In a Local Authority I was an acting YOT Manager and a Practice Manager, managing programmes of performance improvement, service and staff development and effective practice.I have been responsible for rigorous scoping of projects and provided clarity in terms of planning, monitoring, risk and dependency management, stakeholder management, benefits management and the efficient deployment of resources. The responsibility for the production and maintenance of all relevant programme and project documentation has been mine.I also coach staff across the YJB in project management approaches and techniques, having delivered many training events for operational and managerial staff.This has resulted in me developing projects of vision and clarity, and delivering products of the highest standard. I have a track record of understanding and articulating the issues, options and consequences. As a result of my sound programme and project management skill and knowledge I have gained a reputation of someone who can deliver benefits and manage change effectively.
