Last 7 years working in a support role within the care sector, achieved NVQ Health and Social Care and NVQ Health and Nutrition, I am medication trained though I would like if possible to move on from care.In addition to the above, I looked after my son for 25 years who is severely autistic and had challenging behavior, he is also disabled, now successfully placed in an excellent care home.After returning from living in Spain for 1 1/2 years I spent 2 years working in property maintenance renovating and various minor jobs before taking the jobs in care. Spent 25 years metropolitan police in various roles the last 5 years in an investigative role dealing with forged passports and people smuggling at Heathrow, investigations together with the preparation of case papers for presentation at crown court and magistrates court.before this spent several years on general duties arresting suspects and again the case ready for court and going to court as the officer in the case. Whilst working with the Police I also worked as a community Officer in a difficult deprived area tower block estate using as much diplomacy as required to be able to communicate with residents. During this time I spent several months attached to the Child protection team which involved the unpleasant task of taking vulnerable children into care, however, the child's needs and safety were paramount. Prior to joining the Police, I worked as an Import /Export Clerk deep sea freight arranging commodities to be delivered to customers in the UK and overseas. Part 1 institute of Export achieved. On leaving school I worked in retail, face to face with the public, and as with the Police this had plenty of difficult moments, I do, however, believe that I handled these situations with a decent amount of equanimity.As with the Police and Mental health have had a good deal of dealing with difficult situations and de-escalation training, I have a full clean driving licence no points or convictions in the last 5 years includes category C1, I am reasonably well-spoken
