Since 2008 organization grew more than 300% with sales and income both growing at significant double-digit growth rates.Led the Regional Strategic Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting and performance reporting processes including alignment with Corporate HQ and managing investment and performance to deliver on short and long-term objectives. In addition, led financial accounting, control and compliance activities across all Asia Pacific entities.

Coordinated annual strategic and operational planning cycles, and full redesign of strategic and operational planning process to drive rigor and accountability - Extensive work on compliance and internal control framework development at the market and region level which enabled commercial growth in a controlled and appropriate way - Rolled out Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework for the Region (COSO based) - Developed the Finance organization within the region (more than 100 people) including roll out of succession planning, development management and experience sharing processes - Supported country finance teams and managing directors in driving the quality of financial support and rigor in the markets - Coordinated with HQ groups on regional issues (Tax, Treasury, Audit, Information Systems, Manufacturing, etc.). Aligned credit management process, pricing approvals and support for regional business development initiatives including distributor negotiations and subsidiary start up - Notable initiatives have included strategic and operational planning redesign, Emerging Pharmaceutical Markets Strategy development, Compliance and pre-Audit process roll out, Talent Management, ERM roll out and Distributor selection process, leading to annual savings of more than US$5 million across the region
