Contracted to conduct Environmental Protection & Enforcement investigations for the Planning Dept. conducting a project on outdoor advertising by Estate Agents and Corporate advertisers. Achieving:-• Successful reduction of the negative impacted on the aesthetic appearance by outdoor advertising, reducing the transient image of the borough. • Implemented a system of training & education of the Estate Agents senior management at their head office's.• Conducted workshops for staff and 3rd party contractors, training on the legal framework for outdoor advertising and other impacting legislation and how compliance negated Enforcement fines and Legal action by Local Government departments.

Manager of the Enforcement Team, Investigating and gathering evidence for the successful prosecution of:-• Illegal street traders• Market traders for the breach of licence conditions. • Conduct multi agency operations and gather evidence by means of covert surveillance in the sale of counterfeit goods in the borough in conjunction with the Environmental Health Dept and Trading Standards.

Conduct investigations and Enforcement of persons and businesses breaching the:-• Environmental Protection Act 1990• Highways Act 1980• Cleaner Neighbourhood Act 2005• Anti Social Behaviour Act 2003.Lead Enforcement Officer for the Investigation of metal theft on the Councils housing estates. • Utilising HUMINT & CHIS sources• Directing foot and vehicle surveillance operatives from central CCTV suite.• Operating from mobile CCTV vehicles in obtaining evidence for prosecution. • Taking s.9 statements under caution and conducting PACE interviews using the PEACE model. • Compiling case files for submission to the disclosure officer and Legal team in preparation for giving evidence in court.
