Joined with a colleague to establish a new business - Loucon.energy. I took on on board the role of Operations Manager with a view to creating procedures for managing the buiness on a day by day, month by month basis in line with legislative requirements. Having done so successfully, as planned, I am now looking to return to employment.

• Responsible for Planning and achievement of both manufacturing & projects in relation to the site, supplying high quality parts & products on a business to business basis throughout the UK. • Established planning tools to accurate plan production in line with demand. • Built on existing strengths in quality and reputation to deliver an operation and manufacturing facility that is lean, efficient and capable of meeting customer needs beyond their reasonable expectations. • Responsible for the legal compliance of all site activities and established routines and procedures to review and enforce compliance of COSHH, Risk Assessments, Health Safety and Welfare, Sales Order Processing, Training, Appraisals and individual development planning within the teams.• New Planning systems within Excel that measure required capacity with available capacity.• Introduced a accurate Manufacturing measurement system,• Introduction of lean techniques to improve factory efficiency utilizing – 5’s, TAKT timing, Kanban, JIT

• Transferred business to a new site without impacting on customer service levels• Introduced lean techniques that increased production capacity by 35% with no increase in staff numbers or overtime.• Created the purchasing and manufacture planning system utilizing Sage / Excel – making JIT supply a reality in 80% of our product range.• Project managed both the transfer and addition of a mezzanine to the new site without impacting on customer service levels.• Project managed the transfer of a range of Earlex parts and the manufacture of an electrical product manufactured at the Ewbank site for the first time.• Reported to the Group Managing Director, based in Guildford, I held full site responsibility for the Ewbank site based in Burnley.

• Started career within the organization from Stores level through to Head Office to Mid Level Management. • Reporting to the Site Manager I was responsible for the coordination and analysis of Sales and Marketing forecast into production planning utilizing DRP, MRPII, Excel, Word for all in house and bought in finished goods. • Supervise the Management of the third party warehouse & distribution provider.• Established a new planning & forecasting system within MRPII to accommodate manufacturing restrictions and reduced sales lead times. This produced a reduction in finished goods by 50%, increased service levels to achieving 98% of a customer’s delivery due dates.• Managed the sub letting of premises contracted to Prestige with the 3rd party Distribution & Warehouse provider to reduce Prestige’s warehouse & distribution costs – not considered possible due to contractual agreements already in place.• Introduced direct interface between customers and Prestige other than via sales – working with their supply chain to improve communication channels specifically into how, when and what stock they require.
