• Gun Street Garden has been Reading’s premier VIP club since 2019. • Nightclubs during this period were on average operating at around 30-35% below previous year EBITDA nationally, but through redesigning the labour expenditure, tight control of other costs, a creative marketing and event plan and delivering great service we were able to buck that trend, chasing last years profit figures throughout the summer, we managed to catch up and surpass this during the autumn. I have also delivered the biggest ever revenue on a Saturday night (excluding Halloween & NYE) and on Halloween Saturday I delivered an event which took 33% more revenue than the previous year which was then a Halloween record. This also beat the site’s NYE record revenue figure by more than 10% with this Halloween event.

Overseeing the purchase, refurbishment and relaunch of Mai Tai Cocktail Bar in Poole during the 1st lockdown of the COVID-19 pandemic. Relaunching on July 4th 2020, Mai Tai was the most popular and frequently visited bar venue in the whole of Dorset, selling out over 2 weeks in advance for most weekends. We transformed the beer garden into a beautiful space capable of seating 110 people with social distancing and packing it out 7 days a week during July & August of 2020, and turning into an unofficial England fan zone for the Euros during June and July 2021 with the largest outdoor screen dedicated to the football in Dorset.
