LTS responsibilities primarily consist of measuring, modelling, planning, and optimising the LTS Network to ensure the VSAT platform carries traffic with the speed, reliability, and capacity appropriate for the nbnco Ethernet Bitstream Service.In the period leading up to the LTS platform becoming Operational I participated in many diverse aspects during the deployment and testing of the VSAT platform. Major areas of concern included the Gateway Facilities, ViaSat & SSL RF Ground Systems, Space Segment utilization, In-orbit Testing and use of nbnco Tools such as the CSM and RoO. I was a major contributor to ISS BRT and was a permanent member of the team overseeing and adjudicating test results. The 200 Site Technical Trial was established and the VSAT service was delivered on time.
