The Satellite Engineering group was responsible for engineering new Ground Segment, Broadcast Satellite Services, and VSAT Services. The following were key deliverables of the role:• Commissioning and Acceptance of new Ground Segment equipment and OSS.• Handover of the Hume ground segment to Operational group/s• Providing input to the Engineering and Operations groups during the introduction of new equipment and capability• Plan for the operational management of D3 BSS/FSS IOT• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders• Effective communication with Senior Management and external & internal stakeholders• Provide input the core team through the product development and implementation process. All done with minimal disruption to services. • I was the Operational representative on the project team to Transitioned B1 satellite services to Third Party satellites and to spare Optus capacity prior to launch of the D1 spacecraft. I project managed all Operational aspects of the RF carrier transitions to maintain availability and quality of all services after re-establishment.
