CurrentAquaFed - the global association of private water operatorsKey responsibilities- Executive responsibility for overall management and setting the association's strategy - Leading AquaFed's contributions to bring United Nations policy development, reports and consultations on water and sanitation- Campaigning and advocacy on key issues including the human right to water and sanitation, gender equality, strong governance, sustainable business practices and overall delivery of UN Sustainable Development Goals- Providing a global centre for information and knowledge about private water operators, public-private partnerships- Representing private operators in various international high level partnerships, organisations and stakeholder fora including UN organisations, Sanitation and Water for All Partnership, OECD, European Commission, World Bank- Supporting member companies and associations through knowledge and best practice sharing, working group activity and strategic counsel- Personal focus on key issues for water and sanitation including: finance, governance, human rights, public-private partnerships, citizen-user participation and decision-making.Partnership roles through AquaFed include:- Chair of the Private Sector Working Group of the Sanitation and Water for All Partnership- Private sector representative of UN Water- Co-organiser of the UN High Level Political Forum Business Day
