Commenced working offshore with Sedco forex in 1995 as maintenance roustabout, working my way up to the position of floorman. Transferred to the Sovereign Explorer as floorman, spent time working in the Faroe Islands and West Africa, working my way up to the position of Derrickman before being transferred to the Sedco Energy working in various areas in West Africa up to the position of Assistant Driller. Moved back to work on the Sedco 712 in the North Sea as Assistant Driller before being promoted to Driller. Transferred to the Transocean Prospect as Driller before promotion to Night Toolpusher in 2010. Worked on the Transocean Prospect until 2015. Took time out of the industry during the downturn before going back offshore with Odfjell as a Driller in 2017, working between the Harding and Tern platforms as part of a crew reactivating both drilling packages. Left Odfjell in 2018 to work with COSL on the COSL Pioneer as Toolpusher, worked on the P and A programme on Blackbird/Ettrick and also the Buzzard Phase 2 campaign. Currently still working on the COSL Pioneer as DSL, with the rig working on injector wells in the Captain Field.Over the years I have worked on various rigs, involved in drilling various wells in both shallow and deepwater encountering many challenges.
