I joined Hoare lea in 2005 as a Graduate Electrical Engineer following an industry approved IPD program. I progressed to my current level of Executive Engineer in 2012. I have extensive experience in the residential, healthcare, education, offices and business premises sectors. I have produced design information from concept to detailed design including load assessments, detailed calculations, drawings, reports and specifications. I can use industry standard software packages including Amtech, Dialux, Relux, Autocad, BIM (Revit), Hevacomp and Microsoft office suite.

I was responsible on a shift basis for all electrical equipment on a high volume production line including PLC’s, Servo Drives, Electrical distribution including three phase and single phase LV electrical equipment and 24v Dc control circuits, Bolting control and electrical alternator testing. I also introduced TPM on a high and medium volume production line. I had to give presentations to all employees and update planned maintenance plans, produce daily clean & inspect sheets, weekly maintenance and monitoring the life cycle of equipment to determine optimum times for their replacement.I was also responsible for introducing a new low volume manufacturing line from overseeing its commissioning and providing all electrical and PLC software support for the line.

I carried out the instruction, set exam papers and marked the papers to assess who passed or failed
