After leading the business, the team and office network across from Liberty Mutual, the combined operation needed to secure the long term relationships of our most significant Clients - Global brokers. I subsequently became Head of Strategy and Relationship Management for our largest global broker connections, in a new role devised to ensure this was secured.This included :-- Proposition Development (working with the Globals on their own Corporate client propositions and projects to ensure ARML could deliver solutions)- Service development - ensuring the UW, Risk Management and Claims team were fully briefed with expectations- Full comms into our Sales teams to ensure UK wide delivery of our strategy, assisting with case trading at local level where required. - This made full use of my strategic relationships in London of all Global Brokers, and trading relationships across the UK. - We successfully migrated all the strategic relationships across into the new entity, and secured a number of significant wins following tender projectsAnd, worked closely with Aspen Group Worldwide Distribution, Legal and Compliance department to ensure all TOB's and service contracts were fit for purpose, with deliverables. This part of the role was ever adapting to the changing regulatory environment. The Law Degree came in handy!Finally, I took on the Project lead for developing the training programme for our Sales and Sales Management Team.

UK Regional leader - Responsibility for leading/driving the strategy, operational performance and sales management, of all UK Regional Branches.Also oversaw the strategic relationships with the Global / Corporate Brokers, and worked closely with them on their extensive market propositions and products.After a successful 6 years of growth, subsequently helped facilitate the business to move over to Aspen Risk Management following their acquisition of the Liberty UK Regional operation - including the TUPE transfer of all staff.

Regional BDM for UK Midlands and North - assumed the role of positioning the business for growth in the UK Regions. Also responsible for bedding in key relationships with the key Global Brokers and significant independents.I temporarily took the reins as Birmingham Branch Manager, whilst we sourced a permanent recruit.Opened new offices across the major cities in the UK. From a small 3 man office in Birmingham to a nationwide team of 6 offices and nearly 50 staff, I helped to put Liberty on the map!

Relationship Manager overseeing the Strategic Development of "International Brokers" for offices from the Midlands through to Scotland.

Overseeing the underwriting and strategic development of the National Broker business, for Midlands and South West. Responsible for opening the Birmingham City office for Commercial business, thereby significantly enhancing the profile and servicing proposition of Allianz in the Midlands.Also responsible for the National Broker Team based in the servicing office.

4 years of huge fun working for the Lloyds’ Broking arm of JLT in London. Made many friends in the JLT offices and Regional brokers across the UK, as well as insurers and underwriters in the London market. Worked hard, played hard. One helluva learning experience. Helped to grow the wholesale business nearly 4-fold in my time there. Great team.
