For over 30 years Neil, as Foxy or Doctor Fox, became one of the UK’s most successful, best-loved and multi-award winning broadcasters. And without doubt one of the defining voices of a generation. With his unique style of full-throttle personality radio “Dr.Fox’s Surgery”, “Fox’s Jukebox”, and the nation’s favourite Sunday afternoon Top 40, “The Pepsi Chart”, helped shape popular music radio culture. And then of course there was Pop Idol. A TV show that changed our Saturday nights -and some would say TV - forever. And that led to endless appearances fronting, hosting and guesting on numerous shows over the next decade. And a move to Magic radio to start a new breakfast show was also a huge success: the show, and the station, went to #1. Sometimes though, life can throw you a curve ball. And although it is impossible to predict what life does throw at us, how we react to it is completely our all. Sometimes the Universe closes one door, simply to allow a better one to open for us. 30 years of music and entertainment knowledge made him the perfect choice to be Creative Director of Musicplode Media to help create and launch the addictive music game, Beat the Intro. And for three years he has been collaborating with Amazon to develop the cutting-edge version for their Alexa platform.
