Working in a Global IT Security team with 500+ security professionals. My current role is working as an Operations Technical Lead responsible for implementing, operating, and administrating security tools including but not limited to: identity and access management tools, antivirus and endpoint protection tools such as SEP\Crowdstrike, network security tools, vulnerability management tools, data leakage prevention tools such as Symantec, Proofpoint, Palo SaaS DLP (Global SME), and application security tools.Documenting procedures used by the Group Information Security team on specific technical areas.Engaging with different business units and geographical boundaries to work towards closure of projects on a global scale.Work with matrix security engineer to review significant changes.Follow change management and system lifecycle processes by acting as level 2 engineering support for escalation points and change requests for key IT security operational areas.Reviewing configuration changes with regards to security toolsets, testing those changes against customer requirements, and implementing them into production environments.Supporting break/fix activities regarding operational stability of security technologies.

UK Project lead, which involved leading projects through the whole lifecycle and to provide technical expertise on all aspects of project work. To assess IT requirements and cost effective solutions, implement solution using effective project management, reporting and procedural documentation for project completion.Leading a project refreshing hardware and software for10,000 users in the UK. My role was the UK Technical Lead and my responsibilities included supporting and training the engineers, supporting the build room and dealing with any issues or escalations, led project planning and had regular meetings with our customers and end users at a management level.Provide RFS quotes, report and monitor weekly reports, investigate fault calls. This involved building excellent relationships at all levels and having the ability to influence and negotiate in a competent manner. This was measured by strict departmental SLA’s which I met and exceeded by working closely to business and personal objectives.

The positions primary duties were to deal with incoming calls, emails and online requests from the UK. This consisted of a team of 20 people taking an average of 1000 daily calls. The role was extremely demanding and customer focused to meet service levels on a daily basis.Promoted to second line support which dealt with escalations, major issues, problem management and statistics. Responsible for updating and maintaining the electronic communication boards for the south west.Solely responsible for maintaining and managing the Aspect phone system which involved setting up and changing the lines voice messages and routing of calls. I was also responsible for training and mentoring new members of the team which involved setting up and documenting a starter pack.
